I came across this while doing some work-related internet research. My question is, what is septimicia? I googled it, and the search results mostly consisted of people citing this exact list from the CDC. There's nothing on Google Scholar, so I'm thinking whatever it is, medical science never, ever calls it by the name "septimicia". Is it that thing you get when your appendix explodes, spreading infection throughout your abdominal cavity? That is my guess. Anyone who can help out with some real facts, please comment. Another possibility, it's a word for when a boisterous Italian dude wants to describe something as septic, but in a good way: "Eh! That's septimicia!" (Kisses tips of fingers in a gesture of approval) Comments: This comment has been removed by the author. Let's try that again.. Another interesting fact: 20% of deaths of pregnant women are due to murder, usually by the father of the baby. Thanks for not killing me, sweetheart! Septicemia = disseminated bacterial infection in the body, spread by the blood and present in the blood ( -emia = related to/ in the blood) I wnat to trust the guvmint, but they are not vry god at speeling. o well i guess this list is still usful even tho they dint speel it rite LOL!Post a Comment [MAIN PAGE] [SITE FEED] ARCHIVES: April 2006 May 2006 June 2006 July 2006 August 2006 September 2006 October 2006 November 2006 December 2006 January 2007 February 2007 March 2007 April 2007 May 2007 June 2007 July 2007 August 2007 September 2007 October 2007 November 2007 December 2007 January 2008 February 2008 March 2008 April 2008 May 2008 June 2008 July 2008 September 2008 October 2008 November 2008 December 2008 January 2009 February 2009 March 2009 August 2009 March 2010 July 2010 August 2010 January 2011 September 2011 January 2012 February 2012 |
