Or are they trivial? I discovered a piece of software that is causing me to fall in love with my Sony Clie PDA again: Planetarium for Palm OS. It actually causes my PDA to amaze me. It allows you to accurately locate stars, planets, even comets in the night sky. Just the basic version, without any of the additional databases that are provided, allows you to locate the 6000 brightest celestial objects. Sunday night, I easily tracked down Venus, who was hanging out in the western sky with friends Castor and Pollux. My baby is discovering that it is occasionally necessary to strain in order to poop. The poor, little guy's face turns red sometimes. Jordan, Jesse, Go! is perhaps my favorite podcast. Between that and the fact that Car Talk is now providing a completely free podcast of their show, my Creative Zen MicroPhoto is a happy camper indeed. Yesterday, I went for a walk over lunch and discovered that the pleasant, little footbridge and stairs on the wooded hill behind my first college apartment is still well maintained.
