I Just Got My Cosby Tickets
posted by clake at 9:44 AM

Yesterday afternoon, I drove to Riverside Casino to buy two tickets to see Bill Cosby in October, saving about seven bucks by not paying the internet service fee. I am not a gambler, so it is already weird for me to be in a casino. Now make it a midwestern casino at three in the afternoon, and that adds up to some creepy feelings. As I walked past the security guards that watch the entrance to the casino floor, heading toward the gift shop to buy my tickets, it felt like the guards were staring at me. Probably they were, but only because there were precious few people for them to watch on a Wednesday afternoon. Still, there was that thought bouncing around in my head, "They know I don't gamble and they are going to kick my ass out."

Nonetheless, the gift shop lady was very friendly in selling me the tickets, and come October my wife and I get to see Bill Cosby live, which I never really expected to have the opportunity to do.

Below, enjoy the classic Cos routine "Buck Buck" from the album Revenge:

This includes one of my favorite Cosby lines to quote: "Now, I told you that story so I could tell you this one."
