Three Shots, and Some Goo

Today we took Plake to the pediatrician (will I ever be able to say or write that word without first thinking 'vet'?) to get his 2-month exam and vaccinations. He despised the examination and hated the shots terribly, screaming throughout their duration. He also didn't much like the weird goo that was the oral rotavirus inoculation. However, thought of in terms of total time spend being happy vs. being utterly horrified, the visit was an overall good time. Getting weighed was no problem for him, and during the less invasive exam by a nurse he was in good spirits. While waiting for the doctor, he got to lie on an exam table and have daddy play with this fingers and toes, much to his baby-delight.
